    Good value + solid performance

I fired a full box of 1000 rounds out of an x95 without a single misfire. Can’t say a bad thing about it.

Not suitable for bolt action rifle

Posted by David on 2019 Apr 23rd

Bought this for my Remington 783 bolt action rifle because I had no problems with the Federal AE223J military grade ammo I have been using had no misfires out of the 340 rounds fired. However the same thing in bulk format had high rate of misfire about 1 in 5 will misfire. Wrote to Federal Ammo about it and their official answer is because my rifle is not an AR thus may not fire hard primers on this ammo. But AE223J had hard primers too and Federal ammo claimed that I just got lucky. So buy at your own risk unless its used on an AR. Also the count was 988 cartridges instead of 1000. Many casings were dented but I don't think it would affect performance. Shipping was fast.
