Vortex viper gen 2 5-25X50 EBR-7C
This scope was to replace the Vortex Venom which has the same reticle non illuminated. The clicks on the viper are perhaps a little more pronounced. Glass quality is not that much different from the venom in my view The zero stop is something I will not use nor care for all that much. I think a Strike eagle would have been a better exchange for me. I can not see that this scope is a $ 900.00 better value. A bit better yes but it should not cost any more than a strike eagle

Vortex PST scope
Seems to be a well built scope with good glass and long range capabilities. Not so impressed with the eye relief of this scope though. Hard to get just just the right picture without having to move backwards and forwards from the eye piece. The scope has a small eye relief range. I have used Leupold scopes most all my life and never had this issue with them.Fast focus with the Vortex scopes is very difficult.
