There's nothing like a classic. Especially when it honors one. The M16®-03S Classic is more than just a re-issue based off the original design of one of our most popular everyday carry blades. It's a fitting tribute to its founder, Kit Carson, who passed away in the Fall of 2014.
Based off the original M16 design, these tactically inspired knives are ready to conquer your civilian tasks. They feature an AUS 8 stainless steel tanto blade that's tough, holds an edge well and is easier to sharpen in the field than tool steel. It looks great out of the box but even better in action.

Use the Carson Flipper to quickly deploy the blade. It's ready to be called into duty for your daily tasks. Meanwhile LAWKS®, the Lake and Walker Knife Safety innovation, sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame. This pin acts as an additional layer of safety, so the locking liner is less likely to disengage during use. To engage the safety, push the LAWKS® lever forward. To close the knife, pull the LAWKS® lever back, slide the locking liner over, and fold the blade into the closed position. You're good to go through anything with the M16®-03S Classic.
