    Solid midrange pump

    Shoots solid and true out of the box, and the scope is great considering the price. Holds its zero. The factory fore-end is a bit shaky, but that's purely an aesthetic issue that bears no issue on the performance of the shotgun. Replaced them with Magpul furniture anyhow. Rifled barrel performs well up to the distance I've shot at 50 yards.

    Got the 12ga version. I have only used the 28" barrel (not a deer hunter) but it performed very well. Have put about 200 rounds through it so far in the first week. Has not had a single issue. The action is butter smooth now. Has done a great job at shooting clays and rapid shooting stationary targets. You can not beat the quality for the price. A second barrel for deer hunters is a great bonus. Every aftermarket part in the world is available for the M500 too. Can not go wrong.
