The CZ 457 family is characterized by a sophisticated modular design that combines classic styling with the modern manufacturing. A step ahead of its competition, the 457 line brings improvements in safety, durability and accuracy. Borrowing the adjustable trigger system of its larger centerfire sibling the CZ 557, users are able to adjust the pull weight between 8 and 15 N as well as tune the trigger's travel between 0.5 and 5mm. Some of the most successful systems of its rimfire predecessor, the CZ 455, have been retained - meaning the 457 uses the same swappable barrel system as the 455 as well as the same magazines

A classic European-styled rifle for hunting and sport shooting, the Lux is equipped with a Turkish Walnut stock chosen especially for its beautiful figure. With a distinct pistol grip and rounded comb, it is set up primarily for the use of iron sights, though fitment of an optic is made easy by the 11mm dovetail if that is user preference. A thick rubber buttpad ads to comfort and the laser-cut checkering guarantees a secure grip even when the users hands are sweaty or dirty. The CZ 457 comes with a standard 5-round polymer magazine, with options to purchase 10 and 25 round options.
