    Very Impressed

I will start with the online purchase, it was flawless. I filled out all the required information one morning, and I had UPS at my door the following morning. I will do use Al Flaherty's again. Now the gun, I am still in the break in period but so far I am very happy. I was somewhat concerned about the rotary mag after spending a lot of time doing my research. Those who complain about it must have very little dexterity as I have had zero problems loading it and I love the fact that it sits flush with the stock. The accu-trigger is amazing. The stock is comfortable and fits me well. Since I have only put about 100 rounds thru it, the accuracy is good but I'm sure it will get better. I get 3 shots touching at 50 yards and then I get a flyer. It may be the ammo I'm using or the break in, I'm not sure yet. Overall for the price I don't think you can beat this rifle. I own 3 Cooey's, a Mossberg, and a Ruger all in .22 and this Savage will be my go to from now on. Highly recommended.

Amazing quality, fit and finish. A little front end heavy, shouldn't be a problem as e only target shoot from a bench.

I only was able to fire 48 rounds Sat. before "10 klik" breeze became 20 klik wind blowing shots around. Love the Weather Network! Even so I was able to get some groups under 1", with one of 4-rnds at 0.456 plus a flier, making a group of 5 at 0.670 ". Using Federal Champion 40gRNL, the 2nd 'cheapest' ($3/bx) next to Herters ($2.50/bx) Bulk. I didn't get to try any more Sat, but hope to get groups under 0.5" more consistently soon.

Very accurate, easy to clean, ergonomic stock. Adjusted trigger to 1 lb getting sub MOA at 100 m with Remington bucket ammo.

Very happy with this rifle. It is very accurate, I have heard complaints from others about the rotary magazine but I went through 200 rounds yesterday with not a single issue either loading, feeding, or ejecting. I actually like the rotary magazine more than the box version. Accu-Trigger is crisp and adjustable. It comes with a Weaver scope mount, and a heavy varmit or bull barrel. The bolt is a bit finicky to remove and install but I understand that has to do with the more exacting headspace tolerances Savage is using which apparently also helps with accuracy. The bolt is also a bit easier to disassemble and clean than the Mark II but you need a special hollow hex Allan key that does not come with the rifle. Not sure why?. Barrel is 1 in 16 twist. The forestock comes with a sling stud so you can mount any bipod with the proper attachment point. The rifle is the successor to the Mark II and is the better rifle. The stock is stiffer, the head space tolerances tighter, and bolt disassemble is easier. It has only been around since about 2017 though so the aftermarket parts industry is still catching up. Haven't been able to find a 20 MOA rail for it anywhere in Canada but they do exist in the US at EWG and DIP.
